First Time Gridding

So I picked up a water soluble pen and tried grid ding for the first time!  I just had to take a pic to show my non-stitching readers what gridding is.  Here's the pics...

    Yours looks a lot better than mine :P And how on earth did you have the patience to do the whole lot at once?
