Well it's been a few days since I've posted, so thought I'd catch you up on my progress. It's not too much but I can see the end in sight! I still haven't gotten my stitchy bug back all the way and I think my meds have something to do with that. Everything, including stitching just seems like a chore but I've been doing it anyway. I plan to pick up my needle and this project in a few minutes, after posting this so maybe it'll come back then. I do see my new med doc tomorrow and maybe she can suggest something for a med change. What I'm on right now just takes all my motivation and joy away. I will update you later on that! Anyway here are the update pics!

I haven't stitched much since my last post because I just didn't feel like it...my stitchy bug seemed to have vanished! I forced myself last nite to pick up my stitching for about 15 minutes to see if I could get into it. It sorta worked at first and now, today, I seem to be back into it. Not like obsessive like usual, where I don't want to put it down, but I did get some stitched. I just finished stitching the base of the rocking horse so thought it was a good time for an update...Here are the pics!

Boy do I need to do an update post or what! It's been awhile! I finally finished the castle project. I have yet to take pics of that yet as I personalized it and gave it to a lil 4 month old baby named Sophia. I keep forgetting my camera when I go over to my friend's house to take a pic!
Unfortunately, I will not be completing the baby projects as the baby I was making them for passed away in late June. If anybody is reading this, please keep my friend Kristen and her family in your thoughts and prayers!
So since I won't be completing the baby things on my 15, I have moved onto one of the rocking horses. I have been working on, I believe, Sweetheart. It's the 7th pic down in 'The Order' post on this blog. I was going along at a good clip then have been occupied with some other things. I finally picked it back up tonight and came to a good pic taking spot. So here you go, here are the pics!

Well I just finished the three-toned doors on my base of the castle. After taking my last pictures I noticed (thanks to them) that I did 20 stitches too many on the very right side of the base in the dark purple color so I unstitched those as well. I thought it looked crooked then realized my mistake. Not a hard fix. I just have one more tower and the backstitching to do and I'm done! You might see the finish of the tower either later today or tomorrow...the backstitching will soon follow and should take me a bit as there's a lot of it. Well here's the updated pics with the doors stitched and the base finished!

So I've been stitching so much! I'm getting so close to being done with this project! I'm getting that excited feeling I'm sooo close! I just finished a large section last nite so thought I would add some pictures. I thought this part would take a long time but it really stitched up quickly. Another fun thing is my friend, Jenika, last nite said she wanted to learn how to stitch. So I gathered my materials and went over to her work and taught her how to do it! She's off and running! What have I done, a flylady follower and stitcher in my area...AHHH....it should be sooo much fun! Anyway, here's the pictures!
